That is a 307% increase in illegal crossings compared to the last August of President Trump's administration.
Nearly 70% of these encounters were single adults.
There have now been 66 apprehended so far in FY22 – more than double the previous five years combined.
Since Joe Biden took office, roughly 3.5 MILLION illegal immigrants have been apprehended at our southern border.
In August, fentanyl seizures increased 6% from July.
