President Biden’s border crisis is becoming more threatening with each passing day. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced they had seized 934 POUNDS of fentanyl at our southern border in May, which is a 300% INCREASE from May 2020. In fact, CBP has already seized more fentanyl so far in 2021 than all of 2020.
BIDEN’S BORDER CRISIS BY THE NUMBERS:
- CBP has seized MORE fentanyl so far in 2021 than all of 2020.
- The 180,034 enforcement encounters at our southern border in May by CBP is a 674% INCREASE from May of 2020.
- May is the 3RD STRAIGHT MONTH of 170K+ apprehensions, which hasn’t occurred since 2000.
- The 180,034 border crossings in May mark a new 21-year high.
What are House Democrats doing to address the CRISIS at our southern border? Well, yesterday, they blocked Rep. Guy Reschenthaler’s request to consider Rep. Ashley Hinson’s See the Crisis Act. This bill would block Vice President Kamala Harris from using taxpayer dollars to travel internationally before seeing the border crisis firsthand.
President Biden tasked Vice President Harris with overseeing the crisis at our southern border 83 DAYS ago, and she still has not visited or scheduled a visit to the southern border. Harris has even laughed at the idea of visiting the border.
