Accountability Is Here

For the past year, House Republicans have followed the facts and the money, building a record of evidence revealing how Joe Biden knew, was involved, and benefited from his family’s corrupt influence peddling schemes.

That is why today, the House will vote to take the next critical step by formalizing our impeachment inquiry into President Biden. H. Res. 918 will direct the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, House Judiciary Committee, and House Ways and Means Committee to continue their ongoing investigations as part of the existing House of Representatives inquiry into whether sufficient grounds exist for the House of Representatives to exercise its Constitutional power to impeach President Biden. This resolution sets forth specific procedures regarding the impeachment inquiry, formalizes the impeachment inquiry helping to remove legal ambiguity, and ensures the American people will receive the answers they deserve.
