Emails Show Fauci Commissioned and Had Final Say On a Report to Disprove COVID Lab Leak Theory
Washington, D.C.,
March 6, 2023
House Republicans on the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic published emails from Dr. Anthony Fauci showing that he “prompted” and had final approval on a scientific paper written specifically to disprove the theory that the virus leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China.
Fauci then used this scientific paper “as evidence that the lab leak theory was implausible while pretending it had nothing to do with him.” The lab leak theory has since become the prominent theory in U.S. intelligence circles for how COVID-19 came into existence. Fauci’s emails are just the latest evidence showing the great lengths he went to, to obscure the origins of COVID-19. There must be accountability. MAKE NO MISTAKE: Americans deserve to know the truth, and House Republicans are committed to uncovering that truth. That is why this week, we will be voting on S.619, the COVID–19 Origin Act of 2023, which requires the Biden Administration to declassify all information relating to potential links between the Wuhan Institute of Virology and the origin of COVID-19. Passing this legislation is essential if we’re to hold Communist China accountable for unleashing COVID on the world. COVID-19 ORIGIN ACT OF 2023 TOPLINES:
