WASHINGTON—House Republican Conference Chairwoman Lisa McClain (R-Mich.) today voted to pass a three-bill appropriations package for Fiscal Year 2026 that reins in wasteful spending, strengthens public safety, restores American energy dominance, and protects the nation’s public lands. The Commerce, Justice, Science; Energy And Water Development; And Interior And Environment Appropriations Act of 2026 delivers full-year funding and keeps House Republicans on track to pass all 12 appropriations bills. “House Republicans are cutting Biden-era waste and delivering the America First agenda,” Chairwoman McClain said. “Together, these three bills defend conservative values, lower costs for families, strengthen public safety, restore American energy dominance, and protect our public lands. This is how we put America first: by funding what matters, stopping what doesn’t, and delivering real wins for the people we serve.” Highlights from each section of the bill are below: Commerce, Justice, Science
