The Biden Budget Crisis Bankrupting America

This evening, House Democrats passed a rule that set topline budget numbers for FY22 nearly identical to those in President Biden’s disastrous Far-Left budget.  From Budget Ranking Member Jason Smith:   "The rule instructs Dem Appropriators to start writing bills to Biden's $1.5 trillion proposal for FY22, a 16% increase for agencies already flush with COVID cash not named Homeland or Defense.    This desperate attempt by Nancy Pelosi and the Socialist Democrats is because of their failure to do a budget in almost 900 DAYS, which is a violation of the 1974 Budget Act which legally governs the budgeting process of Congress. While this would typically mean a FY22 Budget Resolution is off the table, we know Democrats are still keeping that in their pocket to enact Biden's $4 TRILLION plan through reconciliation to get around the filibuster. Every House Democrat owns this disastrous, radical, Far-Left Biden budget that will bankrupt America. THE DEMOCRAT'S BROKEN BUDGET BY THE NUMBERS: 
  • The HIGHEST sustained tax burden in American HISTORY, proposing $55 trillion of taxes 
  • A 16% INCREASE for federal agencies who are already flush with COVID cash
  • A 0% INCREASE in Homeland Security funding for ’22 even though border crossings are at a 20 year high and over 180,000 people attempted to illegally enter our southern border in May
  • $1+ TRILLION deficits every year, resulting in $17 TRILLION in new debt over the next 10 years
  • Looks to hire 87,000 new IRS agents to target Americans
  • Interest payments on the national debt will grow larger than defense spending by 2031
  • Taxpayer-funded abortions
President Biden has always said, “show me your budget, and I’ll tell you what you value,” based on this budget Democrats don’t value our military, our national security or the right to life. The Biden Budget Crisis will bankrupt America.
