House Republicans are successfully using our oversight responsibilities to hold Biden and his Administration accountable for their failures and corruption. House Republicans have already held the Biden Administration accountable for their pandemic-era policies, government overreach, reckless spending, burdensome bans and regulations, abusive executive actions, and their unconstitutional student loan scam. HOW HOUSE REPUBLICANS ARE HOLDING BIDEN ACCOUNTABLE: 

• House Republicans are uncovering more and more credible evidence of criminal behavior committed by President Joe Biden through a slew of committee hearings and rigorous oversight. 
• Republicans on the House Ways and Means Committee released 14 hours of transcribed interviews with two IRS whistleblowers which show that President Biden not only knew about Hunter Biden’s corrupt foreign business deals, but was also in the room for them.  
  • The two whistleblowers exposed: 
    • President Biden not only knew about Hunter Biden’s corrupt foreign business deals but was also in the room for them. 
    •  "I am sitting here with my father and we would like to know why the commitment has not been fulfilled,” - Hunter Biden said via a WhatsApp message to Henry Zhao, a CCP official who was a “key figure in putting” Hunter’s corrupt foreign business deals in Communist China together.  
    • Another page of the testimony highlighted how then-Vice President Biden made an appearance at a CEFC China Energy meeting that Hunter had arranged.
    • Hunter received money from Ukraine, China, and Romania.
    • Biden’s DOJ engaged in attempts to delay, divulge, and deny IRS investigators.
    • For years, Hunter didn't report all of his income to the IRS – Whistleblowers say he broke multiple laws in the process and much of it went unreported. 
    • After Biden was sworn in as President, there were concerns that the DOJ wouldn't be an impartial investigator. 
    •  Attorney General Merrick Garland ignored those concerns and refused to appoint a special prosecutor.
    • In August 2020, a search warrant uncovered a text between Hunter and Henry Zhao, an executive at a Chinese company that paid Hunter $100,000
    • The text mentioned Joe Biden repeatedly. 
    • Investigators were not allowed to verify the information; they were told: "there is no way we will get it approved." 
• Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee heard stunning testimony from Special Counsel John Durham on his report examining the origins of the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation against then-presidential candidate Donald Trump. 
  • Highlights from Durham’s testimony and report: 
    • The FBI did not have an adequate predicate to launch Crossfire Hurricane.
    • The FBI failed to examine exculpatory evidence and interview key witnesses.
    • The FBI abused its Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) authorities.
    •  Durham highlighted the double standard of justice in America. 
    • Durham testified that he was not aware of “any” evidence of collusion between President Trump’s 2016 campaign and Russia following his years-long investigation. 
    •  Durham testified that: "There is not a single substantive piece of information and the [Steele dossier] that has ever been corroborated by the FBI or, to my knowledge, anyone else."  
• Republicans on the House Oversight and Accountability Committee have exposed tens of millions of dollars from foreign governments funneled to the Biden family through illegal influence peddling schemes. 
  •  The Complicated Web of Biden Family and Associates’ Companies: Biden family members and business associates created a web of over 20 companies—most were limited liability companies formed after Joe Biden became Vice President. 
  • The Biden Family Received Millions of Dollars from Foreign Sources: Bank records show the Biden family, their business associates, and their companies received over $10 million from foreign nationals’ and their related companies. The Committee has identified payments to Biden family members from foreign companies while he served as Vice President and after he left public office.
  •  The Biden Family Used Business Associates’ Companies to Receive Foreign Funds: Despite creating many companies after Vice President Biden took office, the Biden family used business associates’ companies to receive millions of dollars from foreign companies. 
• Republicans on the House Oversight and Accountability Committee uncovered the bombshell, FBI FD-1023, and credible allegations of audio-recordings of then-Vice President Joe Biden selling his office to the highest bidder through his son Hunter Biden. 
  • House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer delivered this bombshell evidence by getting the FBI to cave under the threat of holding FBI Director, Christopher Wray in contempt of Congress.  
• Republicans on the House Homeland Security Committee have conducted rigorous oversight work on the failure of Biden and his Administration to follow the law and secure the border.
• Republicans on the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government are diligently investigating the illegal weaponization of the federal government by Biden to cover up for Hunter Biden’s federal crimes while targeting his top political opponent.
