WASHINGTON—House Republican Conference Chairwoman Lisa McClain (R-Mich.) issued the following statement on the tragic 24th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks:

“September 11, 2001, was a day Americans will never forget. Twenty-four years later, we remember and honor the heroes on that day and all those who lost their lives. We will never forget their legacies, and we will continue fighting to uphold America’s safety and security during times of peace, as well as when presented with unthinkable challenges.”
