Republicans are Touting the One Big Beautiful Bill Across America


WASHINGTON
 –As House Republicans continue to meet with constituents during the August district work period, they are touting the winning policies included in the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB), which will help communities in every corner of America. Through roundtable discussions, site visits, tours, and job fairs, Members are sharing how this historic law delivers tax relief for middle-class families, secures the border, and drives economic growth for hardworking Americans.

ARIZONA: Rep. Juan Ciscomani convened Arizona business, community, and policy leaders for a roundtable on the OBBB, highlighting provisions that will strengthen border security, boost economic development, deliver tax relief, and achieve local priorities.


COLORADO: Rep. Gabe Evans met with local leaders to discuss OBBB wins, including stronger border security, more Medicaid funding, and resources to improve school safety.

FLORIDA: Rep. Mario Díaz-Balart met with seniors at the Hialeah Senior Center to explain how OBBB protects taxpayers from a 24% tax hike and provides low- and middle-income seniors a $6,000 tax exemption. He also met with Uber drivers and employees of Sergio’s Restaurant to spotlight historic tax relief provisions like No Tax on Tips, No Tax on Overtime, and No Tax on Car Loan Interest — helping hardworking Americans keep more of their earnings.

ILLINOIS: Chairman Mike Bost visited the Teffertiller Car Dealership to highlight OBBB’s new tax deduction for car loan interest, helping working families afford new, American-made vehicles. At a roundtable with working families at Southeastern Illinois University, he discussed how the bill expands the Child Tax Credit and creates new investment accounts for kids.

INDIANA: Through Rep. Rudy Yakym’s One Big Beautiful Hoosier Tour, he has met with hundreds of constituents and highlighted the OBBB’s benefits for manufacturers, farmerswait staff, and local businesses. He also showcased how the bill permanently expands opportunity zones, strengthens child care, and benefits the housing industry.

IOWA: Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, Sen. Joni Ernst, and SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler toured small businesses to discuss how the OBBB delivers relief and new opportunities for entrepreneurs.

LOUISIANA: Rep. Julia Letlow joined the Tangipahoa Chamber for a luncheon and roundtable to discuss how the OBBB provides tax relief for families, seniors, and job creators while supporting Louisiana’s oil and gas industry. She also met with the Concordia Chamber of Commerce to highlight how the bill lowers taxes for working families while helping grow the economy.

MICHIGAN: Rep. Tom Barrett and Small Business Administrator Kelly Loeffler visited Clark Engineering in Michigan, where they met with a group of small business owner and highlighted how the OBBB benefits manufacturers, cuts costs, and boosts Michigan’s economy. He also hosted a health care town hall on improving rural patient outcomes and the $50 billion investment for rural hospitals in OBBB.

NEVADA: At a tax roundtable in Carson City, Rep. Mark Amodei explained how the OBBB’s pro-growth tax reforms will drive economic momentum for small businesses and working families.

NEW YORK: Rep. Nick LaLota celebrated Social Security’s 90th with AARP and Long Island seniors, highlighting the OBBB’s $6,000 Social Security tax deduction for 65+, doubled Elderly Care Tax Credit, and capped drug costs. He also visitedGSE Dynamics to spotlight the bill’s $150 billion defense boost.

NORTH CAROLINA: Reps. Pat HarriganRichard Hudson, and Addison McDowell partnered with Americans for Prosperity–NC to meet with North Carolinians, explain policy provisions, and celebrate the opportunities unlocked through the OBBB.  

NORTH DAKOTA: Rep. Julie Fedorchak joined Sen. John Hoeven, Gov. Kelly Armstrong, and Energy Secretary Chris Wright to discuss the OBBB’s energy provisions, which encourage partnerships between coal and oil producers to double oil recovery in the Bakken and extend the life of coal-fired plants.

OREGON: Rep. Cliff Bentz met with The Dalles Rotary to discuss key provisions of the One Big Beautiful Bill and how it will benefit Oregon taxpayers.

TEXAS: Rep. Beth Van Duyne hosted her fourth annual North Texas Job Fair and connected tens of thousands of job seekers with more than 35,000 job openings offered by the more than 500 employers—including Border Patrol—in attendance. She highlighted how the One Big Beautiful Bill secures the border, empowers small and mid-sized businesses to expand, and creates new opportunities for hardworking Texans who want to pursue the American Dream.
