WASHINGTON — Today, House Republicans passed H.R. 4, the Rescissions Act of 2025, to rescind $9.4 billion of wasteful spending identified by President Trump and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). House Republican Conference Chairwoman Lisa McClain (R-Mich.) managed floor debate and issued the following statement: “Today’s vote sends a clear message: House Republicans are putting American taxpayers first.
