WASHINGTON— House Republicans passed H. Con. Res. 113, the Concurrent Resolution on the Budget for Fiscal Year 2027, legislation by House Budget Committee Chairman Jodey Arrington (R-Texas), to unlock reconciliation and advance critical investments in America’s military, food supply, and election security.
House Republican Conference Chairwoman Lisa McClain (R-Mich.) and Chairman Arrington released the following statements after House passage:
“Democrats have made obstruction their entire agenda, but Republicans are not going to let them stand between the American people and the security they deserve,” Chairwoman McClain said. “This legislation gives us the means to keep delivering on the promises we made to the American people. We were elected to get results, and that is exactly what we intend to do.”
“I am humbled by the steadfast unity and unwavering determination from House Republicans to break the Democrat obstruction so we can provide emergency support for our troops, safeguard the integrity of our elections, and continue delivering on the priorities of the American people,” Chairman Arrington said. “I urge the Senate to seize this fateful moment to SAVE and Protect America.”
