Joe Biden inherited a secure Southern Border from President Trump and policies to keep our borders secure. Since day one, Biden and his Administration have worked tirelessly to implement their failed Far Left Democrat open border policies, which have turned every community into a border community and destroyed countless American families.
For months, the Biden border crisis has been one of the top issues Americans are concerned about, and despite having the ability to put an end to the crisis he created, Joe Biden has refused to act allowing the invasion at our Southern Border to continue. Now in a desperate attempt to stabilize his plummeting poll numbers, Biden is reportedly expected to announce an executive action that would allow him to shut down our Southern Border once the number of illegal immigrant crossings reaches 4,000 per day. The arbitrary number Biden has chosen will do nothing to secure our Southern Border. Former Obama-Biden Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said in 2019 that 1,000 [illegal border crossings] overwhelms the system. I cannot begin to imagine what 4,000/day looks like."
MAKE NO MISTAKE: Joe Biden had the ability to take this executive action and secure our Southern Border for years, but he refused, allowing the invasion of illegal immigrants to pour into our country bringing with them terrorists, violent criminals, and deadly fentanyl. Biden’s reported executive action is nothing more than a political stunt. If he was serious about securing our Southern Border, he would shut it down immediately and demand that Chuck Schumer bring H.R. 2, the strongest border security bill in history, to the Senate floor for a vote.
