Yesterday, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced there were 179,725 illegal immigrant encounters at our Southern Border in April. Earlier in the day, Fox News revealed that there have been more known ‘gotaways’ since Joe Biden took office and implemented his failed Far Left Democrat open border policies than in the previous decade combined.
MAKE NO MISTAKE: House Republicans know that border security is national security, and we know the best way to secure our borders is by reimplementing President Trump’s successful policies. Immigration judges have thrown out approximately 200,000 deportation cases because DHS did not file the required "Notice to Appear" by the time of the scheduled hearing.
In April, there were 179,725 illegal immigrant encounters at our Southern Border.
April was the 38th straight month where monthly illegal immigrant encounters have been higher than even the highest month seen under President Trump.
The Biden Border Crisis is costing the United States approximately $150.7 billion each year.

Under Biden, over 350 of these individuals whose names appear on the terrorist watchlist were stopped trying to cross the Southern Border.
So far in FY24, there have been 75 individuals whose names appear on the terrorist watch list who have been stopped trying to enter the U.S. illegally between ports of entry at the Southern Border.
So far in FY24, there have been a record-breaking 27,583 Communist Chinese nationals have been encountered at the Southwest border.
Encounters of Communist Chinese nationals in April 2024 increased by nearly 8,000% compared to April 2021.
In May, the Committee on Homeland Security Republicans released documents showing the Biden Administration secretly flew over 400,000 illegal immigrants into the country.
