If you’ve spent more than five minutes on the internet today, you’ve probably heard the quote.
“We don’t have a strategy yet.”
Yesterday, our Commander-in-Chief, admitted what Americans have believed since the Islamic terrorist group ISIS came into power. Our nation is leading from behind and without a plan.
Here’s what some House Republicans thought of the President’s comment:
The world looks to the United States for leadership but instead we get President Obama’s “we don’t have a strategy” statement.

Mr. President, it’s simply unacceptable to say that, “We don’t have a strategy yet,” for ISIS in Syria. We need a plan! — Ann Wagner (@RepAnnWagner) August 29, 2014
Obama made US policy clear. We’re not at war with #ISIS and have no strategy to deal with the threat. #failuretolead http://t.co/NPWuBgvpXN

Surprised to see so many people shocked by the President’s “#WeDontHaveAStrategyYet” line. His actions have already made that clear. — Rep. Bradley Byrne (@RepByrne) August 28, 2014
WH can try to walk it back if they want, but it’s clear President Obama doesn’t have a strategy for dealing w/ ISIS threat. We need one.

Not having a strategy perfectly sums up the foreign policy approach of President Obama’s entire presidency. — Michele Bachmann (@MicheleBachmann) August 28, 2014
President says “we don’t have a strategy yet” to deal with #ISIS. That’s obvious and increasingly unacceptable.

In a presser, Pres. Obama said he, “doesn’t have a strategy yet” to deal with #ISIS. I’d invite him to talk to Congress. Many ideas here. — Mark Meadows (@RepMarkMeadows) August 28, 2014
