Securing Our Borders

We need secure borders if our country is going to be safe and free. That building on the success of the past four years by putting physical barriers in place to prevent illegal borders crossings and turning off magnets that drive people to try and enter the United States illegally in the first place.

Democrats have all-but endorsed an open borders agenda. They want to offer amnesty to people who broke the law and illegally came to the United States. They want to provide free healthcare and stimulus checks for illegal immigrants, which will only encourage more to attempt to enter this country.

We have to be smart and realistic and we address these challenges, but our top focus should be on securing the border.

House Republican Legislation:

H.R. 140: To amend section 301 of the Immigration and Nationality Act to clarify those classes of individuals born in the United States who are nationals and citizens of the United States at birth.

H.R. 89: To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to facilitate the removal of aliens identified in the terrorist screening database, and for other purposes.
