House Republicans Highlight Small Business Tax Relief

It’s National Small Business Week, and we celebrate the tremendous success and contributions small businesses make in communities big and small in the United States. Just look at these numbers:

  • There are 29 million small businesses in the United States.
  • 99.9 percent of all businesses are small businesses.
  • 47 percent of private sector employees work for small businesses.
  • 46 percent of private sector output is from small businesses.
  • 2/3 of all new jobs are created by small businesses.

And thanks to Republicans’ pro-growth, pro-family tax reform, the future is even brighter for these entrepreneurs.

We’ve paved the way to lower tax rates and a fairer tax code that works hand in hand with small businesses as they grow and create new jobs.

Small business optimism is at an all-time high.

And because of tax reform, small businesses can now invest more into their people, increase benefits, buy and update new equipment, and create more jobs.

Despite Democrats wanting to take that all away, House Republicans continue to meet with families, workers, and small business owners across the country to hear how the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act is providing them the opportunity for a better life. Here’s a look at what some members are doing at home:
