Dr. Dunn at Stakeout: Tax reform is good medicine for America

This morning, Rep. Neal Dunn, M.D. (R-FL) joined Chair McMorris Rodgers and House Republican Leadership at the weekly Stakeout press conference. In addition to having a bill on the floor this week that helps veterans access “STEM” careers, Rep. Dunn has been a strong advocate for pro-family, pro-growth tax reform. The House will vote on the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act later today.

Rep. Dunn’s Remarks:

“This is truly a historic day for our country. For many of us, the vote we cast today is the principal reason we serve: to put Americans back to work and to put more money in their paychecks. For those who doubt this legislation will help the middle class, just read it. I direct your attention to FairandSimple.gop. FairandSimple.gop.

“[The Tax Cuts & Jobs Act] will cut taxes and help hard-working families make ends meet. I want to thank all of my colleagues who worked so hard on the bill to make this dream a reality. But especially, I want to thank Chairman Kevin Brady and Speak Paul Ryan who bore the largest part of this challenge. This is good medicine for America.”
