Really, another Holocaust comparison?

During a speech on the House floor earlier today, Rep. Rashida Tlaib likened the discriminatory and anti-Semitic BDS movement, which calls for boycotting Israel,  to boycotting Nazi Germany during the Holocaust.

Rep. Tlaib: “Americans boycotted Nazi Germany in response to dehumanization, imprisonment and genocide of Jewish people.”

During this ridiculous comparison, Rep. Tlaib neglected to mention that Omar Barghouti, co-founder of the BDS movement, is on record stating “We are witnessing the rapid demise of Zionism, and nothing can be done to save it, for Zionism is intent on killing itself. I, for one, support euthanasia.”

The intent of this hate-fueled movement is to delegitimize and ultimately destroy Israel. Equating it to a boycott of Nazi Germany or any other past boycott is absurd, and proves the extent to which one of House Democrats’ leading voices wants to undermine our strongest ally in the Middle East.

Bottom line: Once again, a prominent member of the Democrat caucus is advocating anti-Semitism.  This time from the floor of the House. When will Democrat leaders finally speak out against these hate-filled, dangerous attacks on Israel?
