McMorris Rodgers Statement on the Budget

Washington, D.C. – House Republican Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) released the following statement after the House passed the Establishing the congressional budget for the United States Government for fiscal year 2018 and setting forth the appropriate budgetary levels for fiscal years 2019 through 2027, (H.Con.Res. 71). Introduced by Rep. Diane Black (R-TN), Chairman of the House Budget Committee, the budget balances over 10 years and offers strong conservative reforms that put the government on path to fiscal responsibility.
