Poll numbers the President would like to forget about

Americans believe President Obama has made America weaker, saying the administration is less competent than the previous two administrations.

These findings are just the tip of the iceberg, according to national polls conducted by Fox News and CNN this week.

Here are some excerpts from the Fox News findings:

Fifty-five percent of voters think the Obama administration has made America weaker. That includes 22 percent of Democrats, 59 percent of independents and 89 percent of Republicans.

Thirty-nine percent rate Obama’s leadership skills positively (excellent or good), while 61 percent rate him as only fair or poor.

The president’s leadership ratings roughly match his overall job performance ratings, which also remain underwater: 40 percent approve, while 54 percent disapprove. That’s near his record-low job rating of 38-54 percent in March 2014.

The CNN poll paints an ugly picture as well. More than 1,000 adult Americans were asked if they approve or disapprove of the President on the issues:

Economy →  38% approve, 61% disapprove

Helping the middle class → 40% approve, 58% disapprove

Health care → 36% approve, 63% disapprove

Foreign Affairs → 40% approve, 47% disapprove

Federal budget deficit → 31% approve, 67% disapprove

On every issue polled, President Obama failed to reach 50%.

More and more, Americans believe the economy has no momentum and is hurting the middle class. They see that Obamacare doesn’t work. They see a dysfunctional administration, and a President who doesn’t know how to manage at home or abroad.
