Dems admit Pelosi’s plan just a “policy wishlist”

Speaker Pelosi is scheming a new legislative package, but even “Democrats privately admit the expansive legislation is more of a policy wishlist than anything — much like a draft proposal Pelosi released in March,” according to Politico.

This is a pattern from Democrats: Instead of working to actually defeat this virus and get our nation back on track, they want to exploit the coronavirus emergency for their socialist agenda.

Rep. Pramila Jayapal, author of the Democrats’ socialist takeover of healthcare, when discussing why Democrats were blocking money for the Paycheck Protection Program:

“We have real concerns about giving away leverage now without getting some of the priorities what we need.” (Virtual News Conference, 4/20/20)

Democrat Whip James Clyburn told his fellow Democrats on a call that the coronavirus “is a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision.” (House Democrats eyeing much broader Phase 3 stimulus,” The Hill, 3/19/20)

Former VP Joe Biden, during his March 25 “briefing on coronavirus, said:

“We’re gonna have an opportunity” to push “my green deal.”

Deaths, sickness, and unemployment aren’t “leverage” or political opportunities – this crisis demands that Congress come together and put partisan pet projects aside.
