In case you missed it, the cost of regulations issued by President Obama’s administration is expected to total $743 billion by the time he leaves the White House. After he leaves, his legacy will be more than $800 billion in new costs for the American people.
That’s roughly $2,500 per person in the United States, and with each new rule comes an added strain on families and businesses across the country, making it harder for you to make your own decisions and live the life you choose.
This must stop. That’s why we’re proposing a whole new way of doing things — A Better Way. Our plan holds government accountable and reins in Washington, D.C.’s out-of-control spending.
How do we do this? By listening to you as we review and address what’s working and (more importantly) what’s not.
In fact, House Republicans are on the ground right now in towns and cities across America listening to everyone from employees to business owners.
