House Republicans take their 2017 plan on the road

Our Better Way Agenda hits the road this month as House Republicans share our bold ideas in hometowns and cities all across the country.

From health care to poverty to tax reform (and more!), these ideas will take our nation down a different path, A Better Way.

As we continue to bring these ideas to every corner of America, check out some of the people fighting for these bold solutions:

People like Rep. Brad Wenstrup (R-OH), an Army doctor who sees communities across southern Ohio who rely on government assistance or are restricted by it. In an op-ed appearing online for Townhall.com, Wenstrup talks more about how our ‘better way’ offers struggling Americans expanded opportunities – not expanded government. This is a real plan to fight the ruthless cycle of poverty in America. As we work to provide opportunities for success, we’re enabling all Americans to pursue their own version of the American Dream.

Meanwhile, Rep. Buddy Carter (R-GA) is gearing up to host a series of town hall meetings across Georgia, where families, businesses, and many more will have an opportunity to learn more about our Better Way. Addressing all six pillars of our agenda, as Rep. Carter spreads these ideas back home, remember: this is about a choice Americans have leading into 2017, where every man, woman, and child feels secure in their lives and in their futures.

And then there’s Rep. Doug Lamborn (R-CO), who’s bringing our Better Way message to Coloradans in his local area, advocating for a smaller government, one that empowers people to make their own decisions, not the government.

As we continue to take our ideas to businesses, schools, and homes around the country, remember that House Republicans are presenting specific, strategic, and bold solutions to fix some of the biggest issues of our time. Solutions that come from listening to you, the people.
