It’s only fitting that House Democrats’ “Sunshine Week” is turning out to be the darkest of the 116th Congress.
Behind the scenes, they’re frantically pushing legislation forward without opening it up to the committee process.
Not exactly consistent with a theme of transparency…
But even shadier is their scheme to get rid of the motion to recommit procedure, which is one of the only legislative tools available to the minority party.
