And yet a Not-So-Happy-Friday for job-seekers around the country.

This week, 315,000 Americans applied for unemployment aid – an 11,000 increase from last week and the highest it’s been all summer. This increase in unemployment aid applications, combined with the worst job creation numbers we’ve seen all year is not a good equation for those out of work.

Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) discussed these issues and the President’s failed economic policies on the House floor this week, noting that over 40 House-passed jobs bills are stuck in the U.S. Senate.
