Four Years Later, and Obamacare Still Hurts

WASHINGTON, DC – House Republican Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) today released the following statement on the fourth anniversary of Obamacare becoming law:

“Four years after the President signed Obamacare into law, the American people are paying the price for a fundamentally flawed policy. Health care premiums continue to skyrocket across the country, which means less take-home pay for hardworking Americans. People are losing access to their doctors and hospitals, and others have had their coverage cancelled altogether. Young people are being saddled with unforeseen health care costs; seniors are losing their benefits; and moms and dads are struggling to afford their increasingly costly premiums. After four years of Obamacare, all we have to show for it is less take-home pay for Americans and more broken promises from the President.”
