On Tuesday, March 3, 2015, the House will consider the Senate Amendment to H.R. 240, the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, 2015, under a privileged motion.
The Senate Amendment to H.R. 240 makes appropriations for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) through the end of Fiscal Year 2015. A summary of the provisions in H.R. 240 can be found here.
The Senate Amendment to H.R. 240 would fund DHS at $39.7 billion for fiscal year 2015 in regular discretionary appropriations. The bill would also include $213 million in discretionary appropriations for Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO) and $6.4 billion in disaster relief funding.
