On Monday, July 14, 2014, the House will consider H.R. 2802, a bill to designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 418 Liberty Street in Covington, Indiana, as the “Fountain County Veterans Memorial Post Office,” under a suspension of the rules. H.R. 2802 was introduced on July 23, 2013 by Rep. Todd Rokita (R-IN) and referred to the Oversight and Government Reform Committee, which ordered the bill reported by unanimous consent.
H.R. 2802 designates the U.S. Postal Service facility located at 418 Liberty Street in Covington, Indiana, as the “Fountain County Veterans Memorial Post Office.”
H.R. 2802 recognizes the service of veterans from Fountain County, Indiana by designating a post office in their honor.
