Amnesty International aligned with the anti-Semitic global left and Far-Left Congressional Democrats the other day when they called Israel an apartheid state.

Israel is NOT an apartheid state. They are one of America’s most important allies and a staunch defender of human rights.

President Biden and Congressional Democrats MUST disavow this anti-Semitic action immediately. Failure to do anything less will align them with terrorist groups like Hamas and Iran, who repeatedly attack Israel as a Jewish state.

AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL FACTS:

• Make no mistake: Amnesty International’s recent report is an anti-Semitic document and wildly inaccurate.
• Amnesty International is the latest “rights” advocate to accuse Israel of operating an apartheid system, joining former President Jimmy Carterand Human Rights Watch.
• As American Israel Public Affairs Committee [AIPAC] has stated, “Amnesty’s true view is clear: Israel’s original sin is that it exists at all. This libelous report weaves a malicious web of lies and distortions with the contemptible objective to delegitimize Israel as a Jewish state.”
• Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid said in a statement on Monday that “Amnesty quotes lies spread by terrorist organizations.”
• House Republicans remain committed to our support for Israel.

HOUSE DEMOCRATS’ HISTORY OF ANTI-SEMITISM: 

• House Democrats have refused to unequivocally stand with our ally and friend, Israel, despite Hamas' terrorist attacks.
• Far-Left Democrats blocked security funding from going to Israel but refused to question U.S. funding to the Palestinian Authority.
• 217 House Democrats voted against providing emergency funding for the Israeli Cooperative Programs to ensure that Israel has the defense systems it needs to defend itself against continued attacks.
• In February of 2019, Democrat Rep. Omar tweeted, "It's all about the Benjamins baby," in reference to American politicians' support for Israel.
  • Democrat Rep. Omar was voted 2019's anti-Semite of the year, according to stopantisemitism.org.
• In May of 2021, Democrat Rep. Omar accused Israel of committing "war crimes" following days of conflict between Israel and Hamas that saw thousands of missiles fired indiscriminately at Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
• Speaker Pelosi has refused to take any action against Democrats who unapologetically attack the Jewish community.
