A Better Way for Oregon and Arkansas

House Republicans have solutions to the problems facing America, and we’re taking our message to every corner of the country. From small towns to big cities, suburban Arkansas to the wheat fields of Northeastern Oregon, and everywhere in between. We’re working hard to show the American people that there is a different path for our country, A Better Way.

Rep. Greg Walden (R-OR) talks more about how these ideas will better the lives of Oregonians.

Says Walden, “Too many small businesses, farmers, and ranchers in Oregon face overbearing federal regulations that are often written by agencies far away in Washington, D.C.”

“We have ideas to boost our national security, combat terrorism, and ensure our troops and veterans have what they need. And we propose reforming the nation’s tax code to make it simpler and fairer for Oregon families and small businesses.” These ideas are the baseline for what Americans should demand of their government, and that’s why Rep. Walden and House Republicans are working to ensure a better future for all. “Together, there’s a better way to get Oregon and America back on track.”

Also leading the way is Rep. French Hill (R-AR), who has been sharing our ideas for tax reform and more with the people or Arkansas. During meetings this week, Rep. Hill explains that our plan will help small businesses by lessening their tax burden and would hone in regulation, specifically noting that “smart regulation is one of the keys to getting faster economic growth.”

These ideas are critical. We are putting forth real, smart solutions to issues that face our communities. In a world where we’re facing some of the biggest problems of our time, thoughtful and bold solutions are needed now more than ever, and House Republicans are providing that better path.
