Administration Admits Obamacare Will Increase Premiums for 11 Million

WASHINGTON, DC – House Republican Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) issued the following statement today after the non-partisan Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released a report stating that two-thirds of small businesses will see an increase in health care premiums under Obamacare:

“Yet another promise made by the President about his health care law has been broken. This time, the evidence comes from the Administration itself. The report by the non-partisan Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services shows that an estimated two-thirds of American small businesses will see their health care premiums go up under Obamacare. That’s some 11 million Americans who will be left with higher premiums and less take-home pay because of the President’s health care law. After all of the President’s promises to lower health care costs for hardworking Americans, this is just more evidence of his failure to do so. We need real, substantive health care reform – but this law is not the answer.”
