10 Questions: Rep. Carlos Curbelo (R-FL)

This week’s Featured Member is Rep. Carlos Curbelo, who represents the 26th Congressional District of Florida. Rep. Curbelo was sworn into office on January 6, 2015, and he serves on three committees: Transportation and Infrastructure, Education and the Workforce, and Small Business.

Prior to Congress, Curbelo founded a public and media relations firm that did work for South Florida and international companies. In November of 2010, he was elected to serve on the Miami Dade County School Board. He married Cecilia Lowell in 2006, and they have two daughters: Sylvie Marie, 5, and Carolina, 3.
