It also reduces the number of times you have to visit a site, just to check for updates. The service is also known as RSS, which stands for Really Simple Syndication. It uses underlying technology on web sites to publish information in a format known as XML. To understand information in the XML, subscribers need to use a news reader. Examples of news readers include Bloglines, Google Reader and My Yahoo. |
