S. 509 authorizes the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to carry out a major medical facility project for the construction of a new multiple specialty outpatient facility, campus renovation and upgrades, and additional parking at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Walla Walla, Washington. The project cost could not exceed $71.4 million, and the bill would authorize the appropriation of that sum for the project.
