Fort Hood Attack: Terror or Workplace Violence?

Congressman Rooney (FL-17) argues that the Department of Defense should immediately reclassify injuries and deaths from the Fort Hood terrorist attack as combat-related, so that the soldiers and their families can receive the health care treatment they need, and can become eligible for the Purple Heart. By designating the attack as "workplace violence," the Department has denied them these critical services.
