Today's ruling by the Supreme Court affirms what we have been saying from the beginning: ObamaCare is officially the largest tax increase in American history. Even though the court upheld the individual mandate as a tax, their decision does not change the fact that ObamaCare is still bad for patients, bad for jobs and destructive to both our nation's health care system and overall economy. It is now even more critical that we move forward in fully repealing this law and institute step-by-step, patient-centered solutions that will lower medical costs and expand access to care. While this is a sad day for patient-centered health care, personal freedom and those opposed to the intrusion of big government into their lives, our resolve in ensuring that this law is repealed has only been strengthened.
