On July 24, 2012, Robert delivered a Floor Speech discussing the burdens of high fuel prices and how they are negatively affecting Central and Southside Virginians. Last month, the Administration announced that its 5-year energy plan will exclude resources off the coast of Virginia. At a time when we are facing a disappointing unemployment rate, this will put more jobs on hold. Robert speaks in support of H.R. 6082, which replaces the Administration's unreasonable and irresponsible energy policy, legislation that would create more jobs for Virginia, help keep fuel prices low, and spur economic growth for Central and Southside Virginia.
