Congressman Morgan Griffith (VA-09) questioned EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson about different standards of flexibility for the EPA and the American businesses that they regulate. When asked if the EPA supported any legislation to grant a similar level of flexibility to American businesses to comply with regulations that the EPA now enjoys with respect to budgeting, Jackson reluctantly admitted that the EPA does not.
