Congressman Morgan Griffith Voices Support for H. Res. 501 and the Boiler MACT Fix

December 20, 2011
Congressman Morgan Griffith spoke on the House floor today in support of H. Res. 501, a resolution expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that any final measure to extend the payroll tax holiday should also include a provision requiring the drafting of new regulations for boilers that are achievable and cost-effective. Congressman Griffith's EPA Regulatory Relief Act (H.R. 2250) would provide a legislative fix for the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Boiler Maximum Achievable Control Technology (MACT) rules.
