Dear Friend, I have been receiving a good amount of mail recently about the United Nations. I wanted to share some of my answers with you in the latest video mailbox. This first question relates to the complexities of the Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) and the importance of protecting United States sovereignty. Ratification of the Treaty will eventually be considered by the Senate, and I wanted to give you some background on the issue and talk about what it could mean for Americans. I also responded to a question from a constituent about the Second Amendment and whether the United Nations can affect our constitutional rights.
