On Wednesday, February 13, I participated in the House Republican Leadership press conference to discuss the president's sequester and the detrimental effects of these arbitrary defense and domestic cuts. We have known about this issue for more than a year and Republicans have been very clear on our position to enact smarter spending cuts. We voted on a plan -- twice -- to do just that.
