Congressman John Shimkus (IL-19) makes the case for the permanent geological nuclear repository at Yucca Mountain and urges Senator McCaskill to take a stance on nuclear waste stored in Missouri. Eight out of nine Missouri Representatives recently voted in support of funding to continue the application process for Yucca Mountain, while Senator McCaskill has not taken a public position.
