This week on Erik's Correspondence Corner, Rep. Erik Paulsen (MN-03) answers an important question on the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) that he's received from constituents around the district. Last week, Rep. Paulsen voted in favor of the Violence Against Women Act Reauthorization of 2013, which passed the House by a vote of 286 - 138. The Violence Against Women Act is bipartisan legislation that is critical to protecting women from domestic violence, assault, and stalking. Rep. Paulsen worked closely with victims' advocates and housing organizations on provisions to provide victims with additional housing opportunities, which is critical for their safety. www.paulsen.house.gov
