Rep. Erik Paulsen (MN-03), Acting Chairman of the Ways and Means Subcommittee on Human Resources, took to the floor in support of a resolution of disapproval of the Health and Human Services (HHS) misguided attempt to undermine the welfare work requirements. The vote was 250 to 164, with 19 Democrats joining 231 Republicans in rejecting the HHS's attempts to circumvent Congress and undermine the critical work requirements for welfare recipients.
