During today's House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Oversight hearing on the IRS implications of the new healthcare law, Representative Erik Paulsen (MN-03), Acting Chairman of the House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Human Resources, took time to question Steven Miller, the IRS Deputy Commissioner for Services and Enforcement. Rep. Paulsen questioned the Commissioner on the merits of the dangerous new excise tax on American medical innovation as well as how ill prepared the Internal Revenues Service (IRS) is to implement this job-crushing new tax.
