Rep. Erik Paulsen (MN-03) questioned experts during a Ways and Means Committee hearing on tax fraud. Today, along with Mr. McDermott and both the Chairman and Ranking Member of the Oversight Subcommittee, Rep. Paulsen introduced the Fighting Tax Fraud Act which essentially doubles the current penalty, giving greater incentive for prosecution against this type of theft. www.paulse.house.gov
