Citing the need to thoroughly assess the impact rules imposed by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) would have on the economy and jobs, Rep. Whitfield offered a bipartisan amendment to delay for at least six months EPA regulations involving Utility Maximum Achievable Control Technologies, or Utility MACT, and the Cross State Air Pollution Rule (formerly known as the Transport Rule).
