Rep. Manzullo Speaks Against EPA's Proposed Regulations
February 1, 2012
Congressman Don Manzullo spoke on the House floor against the EPA's proposed regulation that would require vehicles to get 54 mpg by 2025, hiking the cost of a new car by $3,000. As the co-Chairman of the House Automotive Caucus, Congressman Manzullo is concerned about the jobs that would be lost if such an excessive regulation went into effect dramatically increasing the price of a new vehicle. The U.S. Automotive industry is finally recovering and the last thing the government should be doing is heaping new, excessive regulations on the industry that will put Americans back on the unemployment lines.
