Rep. Issa (CA-49) discusses his support for the STEM Jobs Act (H.R. 6429) which will increase the number of immigrant visas for students receiving degrees in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) field. This legislation is necessary in enabling America to retain more workers in the STEM fields to boost the economy and increase American competitiveness around the globe. H.R. 6429 passed with bipartisan support with a vote of 245-139.
