Rep. Charles Boustany stopped in Lafayette on July 3, 2012, to speak with KATC (ABC affiliate) about the recent Supreme Court decision on Obamacare's individual mandate provision. Boustany stated, "The fact of the matter is, the IRS collects the penalty, or the tax. It's written in the internal revenue code, and so if it looks like a tax, smells like a tax, to me, it's a tax."
